2. Hosting and Server Log Files
Our website is hosted on a virtual server provided by ZAP-Hosting (ZAP-Hosting GmbH & Co. KG, Hafenweg 16, 48155 Münster, Germany). The servers are located in Frankfurt, Germany.
Whenever you visit our website, the system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer. The following data is collected as so-called server log files:
- IP address of the user
- Date and time of the request
- Content of the request (specific page)
- Website from which the request comes (Referrer URL)
- Browser and operating system used
This data is technically necessary to display our website to you and to guarantee its stability and security (Legal basis is our legitimate interest according to Art. 31 Para. 1 FADP or Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). This data is not merged with other data sources. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with our hosting provider to ensure that your data is processed strictly according to our instructions.
3. Cookies and Tracking
We highly respect your privacy. Therefore, our main website does not use any tracking cookies, marketing cookies, or analytics tools (such as Google Analytics). We only use technically strictly necessary session cookies within our self-hosted ticketing system (see section 5) to enable core functionalities like the shopping cart or the login process. These session cookies are automatically deleted after you close your browser.
4. Contacting Us (Email)
If you send us inquiries via email, your details, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on your consent (Art. 31 Para. 1 FADP or Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or to initiate a membership.
5. Event Registration and Ticketing (Pretix)
For our event registrations and ticket sales, we use a self-hosted instance of the open-source ticketing software Pretix.
Because we host this software ourselves on our secure servers at ZAP-Hosting (Frankfurt, Germany), no data is transmitted to third-party ticketing providers. If you register for an event, we collect the necessary data (e.g., name, email address, selected tickets). Your personal data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases. This data is used exclusively for organizing the events, processing your orders, and communicating with you regarding the event. It is only passed on to third parties if this is absolutely necessary to fulfill the club's purpose or if you have explicitly consented.
6. Your Rights
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to:
- Free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of the data processing.
- Correction, blocking, or deletion of this data.
- Revocation of a given consent to data processing.
- Data portability (if GDPR applies).
For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact the data controller at the address given above at any time.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
