General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Welcome to The Puppy Hub! These General Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of tickets and participation in all events organized by The Puppy Hub, a registered non-profit organization based in Bremgarten, Switzerland. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following terms.
1. Prices and Payment
- Prices: All ticket prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include all applicable statutory taxes.
- Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers and payments via Saferpay.
- Fees: Bank transfers within Switzerland are free of charge; any SEPA or international transfer fees must be borne by the buyer. Fees incurred by using Saferpay are covered by the club.
2. Returns, Refunds, and Ticket Transfers
- No Right of Withdrawal: As tickets are digital and grant access to specific leisure events, they are excluded from the general right of withdrawal once purchased.
- Refunds: A return or refund of the ticket price is strictly limited to cases where the entire event is officially cancelled or postponed by us. We recommend reselling your ticket via our ticket exchange in the official Telegram group if you cannot attend.
- Third-Party Fees: In the event of a refund via Saferpay, the payment service provider reserves the right to retain the transaction fees. This and any processing times by payment providers are beyond our control.
- Ticket Transfers: Transferring your ticket to another person is generally allowed. However, since Gold and Platinum tickets include personalized or physical goodies, we require the contact details of the new ticket holder prior to the event.
3. Program Changes and Force Majeure
We strive to deliver the events exactly as planned. However, we reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the program, schedule, or venue due to unforeseen circumstances, weather conditions (e.g., lack of snow for skiing, severe storms), or safety concerns. Minor adjustments or the provision of an alternative program do not entitle the ticket holder to a partial or full refund.
4. Liability Waiver (Assumption of Risk)
- Own Risk: Participation in all physical and social activities (including but not limited to hiking, skiing, paintball, and laser tag) is entirely at the participant's own risk.
- Insurance: Every participant is personally responsible for holding adequate health, accident, and personal liability insurance.
- Limitation of Liability: The Puppy Hub, its board members, and its volunteers decline all liability for personal injury, property damage, loss, or theft occurring before, during, or after the events. Liability is strictly limited to cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the organizers.
5. Code of Conduct and Right of Admission
- Safe Space: The Puppy Hub is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for the LGBTIQA+ community and pet players.
- House Rules: We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, discrimination, boundary violations, or non-consensual behavior.
- Right of Exclusion: The organizers and designated crew members reserve the right to immediately remove any person from the event who violates our Code of Conduct or poses a threat to the safety and well-being of others. In such cases, the excluded individual has no right to a ticket refund.
6. Photography and Privacy Policy
We highly value the privacy and safety of our community. While there is no strict ban on photography, the following mandatory rules apply to protect all participants:
- Anonymity is Key: You may only take photos or videos of other individuals if they cannot be identified as private persons. Faces must be fully covered (e.g., by a puppy hood or. mask) or obscured.
- Consent: Even if a person is unidentifiable, we strongly expect and request that you ask for explicit consent before taking any pictures of them.
- Liability for Media: The Puppy Hub assumes no liability for unauthorized photos taken by attendees. However, any breach of these privacy rules is considered a severe violation of our Code of Conduct and may result in immediate expulsion from the event.
7. Final Provisions
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time for objective reasons (e.g., changes in external fees or legal requirements). The current and valid version is published on this website. These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Bremgarten, Switzerland.
